Traditional dental impression

• Long time: For the oral impression technique, people who have seen the teeth may have similar experiences: clinical preparation of impressions, plaster models, and waiting for the impression material to solidify and die during patient treatment. The perfusion model, etc., as cumbersome as the name, results in a long cycle.

• Poor comfort: During the modulo process, the patient's mouth opening time is too long, and there will be a foreign body in the mouth, which may easily lead to vomiting.

Intraoral scan

• Very comfortable: The intraoral scanner is a small-invasive optical scanning head that directly acquires the three-dimensional shape and color texture information of soft and hard tissues such as teeth, gums and mucous membranes in the patient's mouth. In short, the scanner that is a little bigger than the toothbrush scans in the mouth for a few minutes and is OK.

• Function: Also, the intraoral scanner uses digital models to analyze other problems in your mouth, such as tooth movement, tooth tilt, tooth rotation, retraction, and wear.

• Short time: With the intraoral scanner we don't have to wait for the results of “several centuries” to generate a 3D digital model in 2-3 minutes with an accuracy of up to 20 microns (1000 microns = 1 mm) and the scan results can be viewed at any time.
